This year I am going to try a little project.  I'm going to try marinating the bear from the inside while I'm baiting.  Throwing out a couple bags of apples, or mixing other fruit into my bait this year to see how the meat taste after I harvest the bear.  I like to get the bears comfortable with the bait site so I don't hunt it when it is first getting hit.  It cost a little more to feed the suckers for a couple weeks, but I believe the end result is worth it.  Just an idea, maybe some of you have already tried.
