bear meat
Posted by yotebuster on Jan 18 2006
I can't speak from years of experience, but I've killed two spring bears the last two years, and they have been outstanding !! I can say they have made other sceptics believers also. I've had roasts and steaks, and both have been great, but the best have been Pioneer Slims made by Pioneer Meats in Wasilla. Everyone who has had them has loved them. One bear was killed on the 16th of May and the other on the 21st of May. To be honest, they rate right up at the top as far as I'm concerned.
