To all you folks who have eaten black bear. Is it good? What does it resemble? How would you prepare it? I would like to plan a trip to SE in spring of '07 and would enjoy hearing about how anyone who has had black bear liked it. I am also an avid handloader and ballistics nut and am wondering which rifle would be best to take, .35 Whelen, or .338 Win. Mag. I hope to hunt POW but am open also to suggestions on good areas/outfitters. Any and all replies welcome. Jeff L
