I have always gotten them from Cabelas. I have even gotten my original boots resoled. That being said I will tell you that the recent Cabela Meindl's are not of the same quality as those of old (e.g. my first pair). Close inspection will reveal a slightly different lacing pattern but of more importance is that the quality of construction is nowhere as stout/robust as originally sold by Cabela's. I have purchased Meindl's over the years for two of my sons to sheep hunt with me and they have had several problems including having the rand come unglued and the leather at the achilles flexure actually wear thru. I have looked at the Meindl web site as well as A.J. Broods Outdoor web site - they are the North American distributor for Meindl I think. Images on both sites look like my original boots from '88 as opposed to more recent purchases. At this time I am planning on looking at the Lowa Sheep Hunters as well as Lathrop and Son's equivalent boot vs a NONCABALA'S Meindl Canada Boot.
