The Superfeet insoles are awesome I wear those with a poly liner, Thorlo hiking sock and that combo has been awesome for me. Also Superfeet does a custom insole that is supposed to be awesome, costs a little more but if your feet need the extra touch for whatever reason I would say its worth it.Beaver sports in Fairbanks does the custom insole by appointment.Hope this helps. A lot of guys complain about the quality of the Cabelas Alaska Hunters by meindl being inferior to true Meindls but I cant imagine that as mine have seen some rough hunting trips and have had no problems. I also treat the Alaska Hunters seasonally with several coats of NikiWax Nubuck waterproofing and I can tell you that even after crossing creeks and being soaked for days my feet do not get wet except when you go in a little deep and have done that a time or two.Hope this helps Previous: insoles VernAK Jan 16 2006 Next: Cabela's Meindls walk-in Jan 16 2006 Message Thread:
