My weapon is always ready to go, I learned this back east hunting white tail and turkey.(where I am not in the food chain as soon as I get out of my truck) So this is my choice. I am not paranoid but in the 11 years that I have been in this great state I have been charged by a bear once, I was glad that I was loaded and ready because there would have been no time. The good thing is that I did not have to shoot. However I did have to clean my pants!!!
