   I believe it is in the AK. constitution that the game belongs to the residents. By charging a fee for a specific species is just wrong & possibly illegal? You are not paying for a service you are just paying for the animial. It is going to take someone with deep pockets to challange Ozinkie. I have no problem with the land use fee. But charging 700 bucks at a "chance" to take an elk is just stupid. I have to disagree with Mr. Pid & Martin they must have a lot of money to throw around.
   It is sad that hunting is going down this path. I kills me to think of what my kids will have to do, just for an oppurtunity to hunt. Fork over the big bucks, combat hunt on public land, or wait for a special draw tag.  This is one reason why I left the lower 48, but the disease is spreading like cancer. I think it started back in Europe, moved to California, and now it is here in AK.
   Not worry I here once they have taken all of the timber off they will sell it to the state and then it will be public land. Until then I guess just the fishermen get to use the land easment.
