You do have a point there about the winter hunting especially if it's close by.  Enforcement of tresapssing on native lands varies widely across the state.  In some areas it seems that there is no enforcement, in others there is a fair amount.  The Tonsina/Copper River and Afognak areas come to mind as two with some degree of enforcement.
