[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] air charters Posted by AkHunter45 on Jan 10 2006 It's good to see a guide with that kind of attitude, to bad there aren't more like you out there. I know a few places that I will never be able to hunt because of guide use unless i want to hike for 4-5 days just to get there on my own. I understand they need to earn a living too but the game they pursue belongs to all Alaskan's, not just them and we have every right to chase them as they do. Personally I believe the air charters gain monetarily from the guides or mainly, the big name guide services and it will always be that way. If there's an area i want to hunt bad enough and an air charter won't take me in, i will get in there somehow on my own, be it shoe leather express or other means.
