As a former navy man (aircraft carrier in Nam), it's great hearing from a Marine as long as he doesn't say: "Yeah, you navy guys are great: whenever there's a battle you provide great transportation."

I'll give some thought to the 10/22. Hadn't thought of it since most of the folks I grew up with were bird hunters and used shot guns as did I. I started out with a darned over-and-under 410 and quickly decided that the novelty of having a shotgun combined with a .22 wasn't as good as it sounded. <g>
