I have experience with only one area that is road accessible - Birch Creek. The moose density is low but there are ATV trails that can be accessed from the Steese Highway and head toward the creek. I've only floated there but you might want to research the area. Most hunters there are looking for caribou. I would get as close to the creek as I legally could to hunt moose. Also check the fire situation before you go. The area was pretty heavily burned in 2004. I don't know about this year.
