Well, I agree with MTrap completely. Any technological help in finding caribou is appreciated.  If I had a super cub and unlimited $, I'd fly the area often do see whether its worth spending hundreds maybe thousands to pursue animals up there.  Modern technology in this case is welcomed! Its big country and one could hike for months and see nothing without modern herd location help.  Use it!
I read occasionally about guys usings cameras and email alerts for deer on their stands, to me thats way over the line--and certainly NOT hunting, but to each his own.
