[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] meindl boot trouble Posted by MEtracker on Aug 30 2005 Before you use Nikwax (good product) try to get a bottle of "shoe ease" which is made to help break in new leather shoes. It is nothing more that alcohol, and you apply it to leather shoes/boots and wear them until the leather dries (about an hour or two). It is ok to use on Gortex, so it's worth a try. After you've applied the alcohol (or "shoe-ease") and it's dry, apply the Nikwax.
