I was on the Denali Highway last weekend with a friend. I only saw one hunter with a rack. My buddy saw a cow with a calf. I did not see anything but a couple of cow moose. The willows have grown so high in many areas that it is hard to see anything shorter than a moose. There were lots of hunters going in to set up moose camp for Thursday's opener.
