I found a cow caribou shed while hiking a few years ago on top of the ridge bordering Ship Creek and South Fork Eagle River. Thought it was a curious thing to find. I wondered if maybe a dog got ahold of it and drug it up the mountain, but it was at least 4 miles from any house and didn't have any teeth marks on it. Hmmm....
