Check the tires regularly
Posted by AlaskaCub on Aug 29 2005
I run up there twice a year hunting and I have found that its hard to tell sometimes if you have a flat so I keep my rear view mirror aimed down and back and check them regularly as I am driving. I seem to have more flat problems with my rear tires than my front. I carry a awesome plug kit an a@@ of plugs and a compressor. I have put as many as 12 plugs in my rear tires in one trip up north. You just have to catch the flats before they smoke the sidewalls. Then you must use spares. I dont use spares until I damage a tire so bad that I cant repair it. Have not mounted a spare in last 5 trips up just plugging.
