Always carry two spares on rims
Posted by Doc on Aug 29 2005
I've done the haul road several times over the years, and I ALWAYS carry two good spares on rims, plug/repair kit, air pump, and a couple of cans of fix a flat.  I will never make that run without ALL of the aforementioned.  I've had trips with two flats, no flats, one flat, slow leaks, etc.  Was just up there last month (all the way), and had one flat during the last twenty-five miles on the way back.  Be prepared and you won't have to worry about it....worrying takes the fun out of it....and there's lots of fun out there.  Good hunting.
