Planning to camp and do some sightseeing along the Denali, mid-Sept.

Can anybody offer me some advice? I have the Milepost book, and it looks like there's a number of camping areas along the road. I'm anticipating that lodges will likely be closed this time of year. Regardless I prefer to camp, either at a 'turn-out' or back in the bush a short hike.

Any specific area stand out in terms of scenery, possibility of seeing game, etc?

This is just a short 2-3 day detour en route to a fishing trip, but I'd like to make the best of it!
