actually there are quite a few places you can put in and parralell the road to float.  It wont get you outside of the corridor however it will get you away from the road hunters and put you into a better place to stalk them.  Anywhere from slope mountian north there are access points.  Get a bigger map 63360's or get the map set for the corridor it will show you all you need to know on floating this river.
