I've checked them, but still don't have a clear answer. Are there places where I can put in a large raft, take the Sag out 2-3 miles from the road, and then float back to the road with no more than 2 full days of floating (not counting hunting)? I was told something about a 7-10 mile float, but am not clear on the location. Is anything like this possible up by Pump Station #2? I've only hunted the Dalton in October when they're down in Atigun Pass, but this year I'm going in August. My wife isn't a bowhunter yet, so we're planning on making the hike in. I'd love to float out a little ways to get at least a few miles out of the hike, plus I'd be bowhunting as we floated. Any ideas? Thanks!
