Not everyone needs to compete a hunter's education class.  Go back and re-check the hunting reg's.  It will let you know if you need to complete a hunter education course.  Whether you do or not is based upon your birthdate.  I don't have the regulations in front of me right now, so I can't tell you what page to look at, but you'll find it towards the front.  The birthday cut-offs are also in the regulations.  If you are one of our younger hunters you may need to complete the course.  You can call Fish and Game in Anchorage (or where ever) for information regarding the next class offering.
