I read this forum all the time but have never had anything worth saying. This time is different however.  I am the proud owner of a Tikka T3 Lite stainless synthetic in 30.06 caliber and I absolutely love this gun.  It is lite, reliable, and extremely accurate out of the box.  In a little over a year it has taken 2 black bears, 1 caribou and 1 moose.  I have shot 150 to 180 grain nosslers and have been extremely happy with the performance of this gun across the board.  In my humble opinion, it is the best gun out there for the money, and it has held up extremely well for the conditions I've put it through.  

The only thing point of concern on this rifle are the rings that come with it.  They are lightweight aluminum and a gunsmith here in Fairbanks was worried they may not hold up on a heavy recoil rifle.  No problems yet however.  My Ziess Conquest scope fits perfectly and hasn't moved a bit with about 60 rounds fired through the gun thus far.  Hope this helps you out a bit.
