[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Tikka Posted by akfishinguy on Jun 28 2005 I don't know much about the Tikka in .338 other than they had some recall issues about a while back, but my buddy does have a T3 .270 WSM. Very nice little rifle. Action is super smooth, no need for extra ring bases, has an excellent (and adjustable) trigger, and I believe the same barrels as the Sakos (could be wrong on that though). The recoil pad leaves a little to be desired, but I found it to be a very nice shooting gun. Seemed very tolerable of the various ammo shot through it so far. We've been working up handloads with the Barnes 140gr Triple Shock and found four several loads that grouped very well. A guy I work with has a couple T3's in 7mm that he's really liked as well. In my opinion, you're getting a lot of gun for the money. Previous: Tikka T3 Rick Smith Jun 29 2005 Next: Tikka T3 Lite 30-06 RTC KJN Jun 29 2005 Message Thread:
