An Alaskan company called Wild West Guns sells a rifle called the "Alaskan Copilot". It is a take down rifle based on a model 95 Marlin. I'd love to have one. Seriously considering buying some take down rifle for ease of transport. However,... as shown on their webpage, the Copilot in 50 caliber would cost $3374 (2230+595+549). Anybody own one? Is it worth the price?

(There is a moderate amount in the archives on Wild West Guns, but no one saying that they have actually purchased the Copilot.)

Thanks...........Flatwater Bill
