hey, i have a question...i can buy 55gl barrells of raw sweet molasses for dirt cheap here in texas...so, when i move up there in june, i'll be hunting alot of black bear my first year...so, will a black bear respond well to molasses spiked with apples/berries, etc?

I can buy a 55gl for $80 or so...here at bass pro, the 'hog wild' molasses goes for $10 a gal!!!! ...so just wondering if i oughta stick back an extra barrell!!!!  We use this as cover scent and to bait out hogs and i mean it works!
