Jacket choice...
Posted by jpost on Mar 30 2005
It was recomended to me to use standard fleece and use your rain jacket for wind blocking purposes.  This might cut down on the amount of clothing you bring as you can use your rain gear (which is going anyway) for winblocking purposes.  That system worked fine for me last year.  With that said, I have since purchased a Marmot windblocker fleece with zippers in the arm pits for ventilation.  It's a sweet jacket and will go on my next sheep hunt.  Have fun gearing up and spending $$$!
