Patagonia R4 lightweight fleece jacket

Anyone have any experience with this jacket. It's a little pricey but most Patagonia gear I own has been worth its weight in gold. Not much out there on R4. The only thing I can find is that it has windbloc; no mention of its comparision to R1 (lightest/most breathable), R2 (most versatile), R3 (warmest). I'm wondering if it is just R3 with windbloc???

I'm looking for mid-layer for a sheep hunt this August. Recommendations?
