POW Black Bear Self Guided

I have learned a lot from reading the archives and forums here and was looking for review/ personal experience/suggestions for May '05 hunt on POW Island. Otter Cove and Coffman Cove have been mentioned. Any feedback on these or others I have yet to discover?
One thing that has me a bit concerned is the potential concentratoin of skiffs/hunters around Thorne Bay. Is this a problem to find your own areas to hunt safely? Or should we strongly consider fly in boat based type hunt to avoid crowds?
