He is pretty ornery and I don't trust him. I have taken to packing my .44 when I walk up to get the paper. He got up on my elevated front deck the other night to try to get to my bird feeder. He stuck his antlers through the hand rail on the stairs and tore off the handrails and all of the balusters. I guess I'll be buying some new cedar this spring to rebuild the damage. Oh well that is part of what makes living near Fairbanks just a little bit different than the rest of the hordes in the lower 48.
