i have a cabela's guide model 6 man. it takes a beating, it hasn't rolled away on a bou hunt yet, but you can't get stingy when it comes to tying down every line. if i'm in that "really bad stay inside for days" weather, it's a blessing. being cooped up in a smaller low profile tent is torture.
on the other hand, a north face ve 24 of my buddies will stand to unbelievable gusting wind at high altitude no problem. i lean more toward the comfort of being able to stand because theres always at least 1 day of holing up inside. it mostly depend on how far i have to carry everything which tent we ultimately use.
