We have noticed a problem with forum speed in recent weeks; a problem with has been accelerating.  The symptom is just that everything....moves...slowly.  The problem seems to be confined to database driven pages, and all of the forum pages fall in that category.

Analysis of server logs shows an average of 11 requests for forum resources every minute.  During peak times, the system is probably processing 2-3 times that number, meaning the system is processing nearly one request per second.  But....during off-peak times, the forum is quite fast.

Our IT consultant has suggested a modification to the software.  We hope to accomplish this within the week, and we hope this will improve the situation.

Sorry about the slowdown.....we'll get it fixed as quickly as possible.
