BowTech Pro 40 Dually
Posted by Daveinthebush on Oct 18 2004
Last March I bought a Pro 40 Dually (60-70). At first I had a difficult time shooting it as my old bow was an antique.  In time, as it is a hard cam, I learned and eventually shot a blackie with it the last day of baiting season. No contest, blew right threw at 10 yards.

I had set it up myself as no bow shops in Valdez, it needed a pro's fine tuning.  I took it to Flechers and in no time he had the thing tuned perfectly. It is very fast. With my arrows I am getting around 295 fps.

With my old bow, 30 yards was my limit. I would not hesitate to shoot 40 yards on a deer with this and 50 on a caribou or elk.  "But", I also shoot almost every other night and can practice to 60 yards in the yard.

The bow is very high quality, quiet and light. It is one fine piece of machinery. I have emailed the factory twice on little items and they are always extremely fast to respond.

Over all, it is an excellent bow and I would buy another. Two other people in Valdez have BowTech's also and they love them.

Email me if you need any more information.
