Study - a joke!
Posted by Brian Richardson on Mar 17 2004
Read it again a few more times!!! You will read further into it hopefulllly and find that just about every subject he covered had holes shot through the concepts.

I clearly find that this author is a hammer fixes all kinda guy exhibiting little experience with high-quality gun smithing.  That is not really my point though.

- First and Foremost -
Familiarity with your firearm and ammo of choosing is the key… in the company of know-how by favor of the conditions you will be using the combo.

This is not a good read at all!  -  If you deem this as accurate… go back to spears.

Remingtons, Rugers, Weatherby, Winchesters (alph. Order) are good rifle makers.  To say that the U.S.A. makes rifles that don’t live up to the pressure demands of dangerous situations… is a foolish philosophy – Tell that to the military and law enforcment who choose tailor made Remington when the anxiety is something shooting back.

Yet another perfect idiotic example was loading a .375 Weatherby into an H&H!  He “had a good laugh”???  He never heard of a .375 Weatherby?
Get a clue – Weatherby loaded a .375 Weatherby constructed for the modified FN Mauser action later being replaced by the .378 Weatherby in the model 58 (turned Mark V) in the 1950s.

Read the article again – this guy should just carry a camera – but only if he can load the appropriate film or media.  Kidding a little… maybe the guy actually has a lot of experience, but the whole article was based on apprentices with modest know-how and no currency to meet the expense of high quality, large-bore guns with also the high cost of suitable, fitting ammo.
