Almost won the silver salmon derby a couple of times. This is one creek I would not recommend to out of staters and a good number of locals. That muck is brutal to say the least. I have seen many people caught in waste deep muck requiring the help of firemen to get themselves free. I have had great luck with orange yarn, also with that orange yarn hook with two corkies at the end. Help me out here I forgot what this setup is called. If Ship Creek is what you want fish the out going tides from the culverts down. Damn no more culverts, I dont know what to call that last bridge.
