Head north
Posted by AKmud on Apr 28 2006
The Parks hwy streams should be starting to peak around then and bank fishing is much easier there than most places on the Kenai penninsula.  The Little su is a good producer and with a little hike you can find a bank all to yourself.  As far as tackle?  Magnum Wiggle warts (various colors), Vibrax spinners, Spin-n-glo with yarn, Kwikfish, T-spoon,... they are all staple lures up here.  Any decent tackle shop can point you in the right direction, or ask another shopper if they are local and follow their advise.
