Silvers generaly will make their appearance in the hole in early August and continue through mid-September. July will see a few of the early returners along with the occasional late returning king.

I always enjoyed working the shore alongside the mouth during the flood of the incoming tide. The harbor seal(s) will clue you to where the fish are stacking up prior to their drop into the hole.
