Very nice post and I agree with your points. I specifically liked the remark of realizing the sensation. That is exactly what I believe it takes and is the hardest to relay sometimes to clients. I tie may sockeye flies sparse and just for my pleasure. Lining is for the most part about the weight volume and position IMHO.
