Fire Lake...

Over the years I have fished Fire Lake fairly hard for pike, but never had much luck. Typically caught a couple fish throughout an entire evening (Max of 3), but biggest ever was maybe 23 inches, otherwise 90% of pike I have caught there are around 15 inches....
I would definitely try to find some time to head out towards the mat-su valley, or towards petersville, which can offer lots of great pike fishing and not many people.
