kwikfish (new 2ak and tcman)
Posted by FISHGIRL on Mar 26 2006
****Just a personal preference**** but I use 80 lb tuffline type line. With a GL2 GLoomis Rod and Abu Garcia bait cast reels(like a 6501C4 or so).  For my leader (about 3-4 ft) I use 50-60 lb mono.  On the main line you need a beed then a slide clip (to attach diver or lead balls to) then another bead then tie on the barrel swivel.  Then attach the leader to the main line barrel swivel. (use a palomar knot). then tie a clip at the end of your lead to attach to the kwik fish.  I personally tie up a dozen or so 50-60LB leaders with clips on each end for easy changes if one gets knicked or ?.  ***also King season ends July 31, unless there is an emergency order. which you can check on ADF&G website... hope this is not too confusing...
<*)))>< have fun! ;-)
