You can go down to Miller's Landing or anywhere else you can find a good back cast and fly cast in the salt for Dolly Varden and maybe Sea-Run Cutthroat (not sure if this species exists this far North).  Small baitfish patterns would work for either and you might even pick up a stray Chinook or Silver if you get REALLY lucky.  

Be sure to rinse your gear down very well when you are done or you will have a pile of junk because of Salt Corrosion.  I used to fly fish from shore for Cutthroat and Salmon in the Puget Sound and would often hook fish not more than 20 feet from shore.
