giant AK pike
Posted by Ripface on Mar 25 2006
I've seen some fishing shows where folks are hanging giant pike in Alaska.  It seems they are mostly based out of the Yukon delta vicinity, and some of the tributaries that drain into it.  One show, the guys were based out of a house boat and would run up river and catch NICE pike, and some sheefish.  When I move there in a few months, I plan to make a pike expedition once a year.  Anyone have any ideas, or guides, or resorts, or rivers, etc. where my addiction can be satisifed for big pike?  I would assume the best times of year would be spring or fall, as is the case here in MN.
