Steelhead Fishing?

Can anyone tell me where I can find some decent steelhead fishing this spring? I recently got assigned to Eielson AFB and don’t know the area very well. I lived in Anchorage for 8 years and I used to fish the Kasilof River for steelhead every spring, but I’m not willing to make that drive from Eielson.

I haven’t been to the Valdez yet. Are there some decent rivers down there that are worth trying?
