Ice fishing going towards Seward

I am planning a road trip to Seward this weekend and I am wondering which lakes I could possibly stop at for some decent fishing. I have heard Grouse lake produces some big dollies but I dont know what time of year or what hook/bait would be the best. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I am starting at Eagle River.
