Susitna Valley River Guides
Posted by Royce Meritt on Feb 22 2006
Hi everyone.  Some of our plans for this summer's trip to Alaska are starting to come together.  Our plans include flying into Anchorage a day before our actual tour begins, renting a car and doing a day's fishing.  I contacted a few guide services that offer 1/2 and full day walk-in and/or float fly fishing services.  One service, "Susitna Valley River Guides" out of Willow, AK seems to fit the bill.  They have been very helpful and answered all of my goofy questions as best they could.  Thinking of giving them a go.

Anyone have any experience with these folks?  Also, any other suggestions, tips, etc?  Thanks.
