I'm not rich by any means, but I've been thinking about selling everything I've got and heading up there while I'm still young enough to enjoy it. Hunting and fishing have always been a passion of mine. I should be able to buy a house and get by for a few years on my savings. I'll probably die a complete failure but I bet I'll have a smile on my face when I go!

Been thinking the Soldotna area would be a good location for fresh water fishing and a reasonable drive to salt-water access. As far as work goes, I worked on oil rigs as a kid but am a little long in the tooth for that now. My degrees are in Industrial Management so I don't realistically expect to find a job up there. Most importantly though, I’ve been in Iraq for a year now and if there is anything I’ve learned, it’s that life’s short and a lot of people never get the chance to live their dreams. I’m going to make mine a reality.
