How far up the Kugururok did he get by plane.

Do you know how far up the Kugururok he got. One bush pilot told me he could only take us as far up as Kaiyak Lake which is about 15 miles up from the Noatak. We were hoping to get 40-50 miles up the Kug into the Mts a little further. Afterall, we have 10 days to play with here. Cant spend that on 15 miles of river.
