Kenai in July
Posted by AK Troutbum on Jan 27 2006
Good(proven)raingear. I have been asked this numerous times by friends/family traveling up here for the first time to fish or hunt. You could very well get lucky with the weather in July, but don't count on it. Aug. tends to be our rainy season and your comming very close to it. Personally, i'm sold on Gore-Tex and Simms can't be beat. As far as tackle, this all depends on what species your fishing for and where on the Kenai your fishing ie., upper, lower. Good luck.
