I've fished the keni several times. I didn't stay at either one of the places you asked about,BUT, You can fish the Russin River and the Keni yourself either at the ferry crossing or there are a number of guides who will take you on day trips. Check at Gwin's Lodge in Coopers Landing at the bait shop. They also have cabins you can rent. If you are going the end of July you will most likely miss a lot of the reds and silvers they seem to peak around the 15th to the 22nd of July by my experinces. ( may vary year to year). If you want a lot of action go to Hope (outside of Anchorage) The Pinks run real heavy the end of July average 6 to 10 # hope this helps
