RE: Pulling pots
Posted by PastorBob on Jan 21 2006
Thanks for the imput guys. I currently run two 600 foot lines with two pots on each. One at 550 feet and one at 600 feet. I have been pulling them by hand. I'm 66 but its not too bad, takes about 20 minutes each. One is a lead line which seems to tangle really easy so I carefully curl the line as I bring it up, that one takes a little longer. I have looked at the electric pullers, but like Busby said they are pretty proud of them. Also, my boat is only 22' long with a fair size cabin and it already seems like I can't figure out where to put stuff and the puller would be one more item but maybe one of these days...
