bear cubs

I had the pleasure of sitting and watching the famous brother/sister bear cubs in late September for about an hour. These cubs are not small or helpless. They appeared healthy and happy, alone on a gravel bar fishing. The lame boy cub gets around very well in the water, and his fishing technique looked normal. These "little cubs" are big enough that you don't want to run into them on the trail, trust me.
